Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney

Mention Sydney to anyone in the world and you'll be guaranteed an excited reaction. The skyline of Sydney is an icon of exotic foreign travel akin to Big Ben in London, the Taj Mahal in India and the Statue Of Liberty in New York.

But what a great many people don't know is that there is another worldly treasure in Sydney - a horticulrural treasure that is the Royal Botanic Garden. In this article we take a tour of the gardens and I guarantee that by the end you will want to go to Sydney as much for the garden as for the other famous landmarks adorning the harbour as shown below.

You can clearly see the Botanic Garden in this shot above. It runs along the shore to the left of the Opera House. Below is a picture of the nearby Harbour Bridge.

It's impossible not to reel-off dozens of photos of the Opera House from all sorts of different angles. Here's my attempt at something rather more abstract.

This photo was taken just round the corner in Darling Harbour which is buzzing with cafes, tourists and very well presented palms.
